Hand Knitting and Crochet for Film and TV
These are samples of my historic hand knitting projects that I have made as a test run for knitting for film and HETV.
The grey Fairisle is based on a pattern which is circa 1943.
The green and blue wave pattern is based on a victory knit pattern from 1945 from women’s own.
In addition to the historical work I can do, I am also well versed in couture techniques and the creation of luxury contemporary garments.
I made this olive green trench coat.
It’s so me that I feel this coat has developped a life all of its own. One of these days, this coat is going to take itself off the peg and set off on its own adventures.

I wore it to a ball at the Musical Museum in Brentford Christmas 2024.
