Working on this visually whimsical and texture-rich period biopic, I served as a Junior Costume Maker under the direction of Academy Award-winner Michael O'Connor. My role focused on the intricate, time-honoured details of Victorian and Edwardian dressmaking. I was responsible for extensive hand-sewn buttonholes and delicate shirring, as well as the structural construction of bustles to achieve the specific historical silhouettes of the era. This project allowed me to showcase my dedication to high-level craftsmanship and traditional finishing techniques.
